1. _I_n_t_r_o_d_u_c_t_i_o_n
The Silicon Graphicsr VINO Execution Environment 1.0.3
supports the builtin video input (_Vidoe _In - _No _Out)
facility on Indy system.
The vino.sw.eoe image must be installed for VINO. Install
the software from the miniroot so that the kernel can be
auto configured after the software installation. This is
necessary in order to use the hardware.
The execution environment in concert with the Video Library
that is included with the dmedia subsystem includes a
control panel, _v_i_d_e_o_p_a_n_e_l, that can be launched from the
Icon Catalog, as well as _v_i_d_e_o_i_n, an application that
displays video in a window on the screen. There is also a
command line application, _v_i_d_t_o_m_e_m, that supports frame in
from video. Documentation of these tools is included in the
Utilities Guide.
Note: Packaged with these release notes is a separate sheet
that contains the Software License Agreement. This
software is provided to you solely under the terms
and conditions of the Software License Agreement.
